What do you mean by hosted service?

Hosted service means the entire solution is provided to you as an online application. It allows you to be free of any hardware, software licenses, maintenance, upgrades, trouble shooting or storage. Business Catalyst take care of everything that happens behind the scenes and after you have paid for your website to be built, all you pay is your monthly hosting fees (which you normally pay anyway, regardless of who hosts your website).
